English is actually not hard to learn. However, I still could not achieve a higher mark in English.
I am poor in pronunciation as I seldom talk in English. My grammar is not that good too.
I want to improve my English but I don't know how.
I hope teachers can help us in our composition writing and provide us more phrases to be used in the composition. Teachers may also give us more comprehension passage to do to practice our writing.
I am not satisfied with my progress now, however, I will work hard and I hope I can achieve a higher result for my English 'O' Level (:

This piece of writing is better than the other essays you handed to me. Can you think of any reason why?
ReplyDeleteIf you think you have a problem in pronunciation, you can try to speak to your friends in English and practice reading aloud passages at home. Record your own reading and listen to it. It will help you in your pronunciation.

I agree with you that the difficulties you faced,and most of international students also faced the same problems as you,included me.About how to improve oral english u can check my blog...comprehension needs abundant vocabulary. u can try to memorise english words through reading news paper,by my
ReplyDeleteexperiences,many common english words or phrases may appear in news papers.And learning english really need great perservance...frankly ,my english also progress very slowly.But at least better than past 2 years.
Santi ,jia yo!!you sure will do well for your english O level!If you want to improve on your grammar,my advice is to buy a english guidebook for vocabulary to expand ur knowledge=)
